Leo Orr Jr. Makes Cum Laude Roll at Prairie View A&M

According to L. C. McMillan, Registrar, of Prairie View A & M college, Leo E. Orr Jr., son of Principal and Mrs. L. E. Orr of Malakoff, and a 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School, has been listed on the Honor Roll, Cum Laude, for the first semester of the 1961-62 school year at prairie View A & M College, Prairie view, Texas. To qualify for the Honor Roll, a student must have carried a semester hour load of at least 14 hours and have made an average of “B.” Orr carried a load of 19 hours.
All honor students are presented certificates of commendation by Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society at t special Honors Convocation on February 15, followed by the annual dinner for Honor Students, given by President E. B. Evans of Prairie View A & M College.
