Former Malakoff Boy Takes Newspaper Job in Vacaville, California

Johnnie Schneck, former Malakoff resident and son of the late Johnnie and Mrs. Helen Schneck is now associated with The Vacaville Reporter in Vacaville, California in the capacity of advertising manager.

After leaving “The Lignite City” – the place of his birth, Johnnie became interested in the newspaper advertising field.  He served his apprenticeship on The Hobbs, New Mexico Daily News Sun, and from that post, after a year’s service, he went to the Alamogordo, New Mexico Daily Sun, where he worked for a time as an advertising salesman.

Mr. Schneck, who recently accepted the California post, with his wife, Delores, and their two-year old daughter, Jonnie, are at home in Vacaville at 403 Elizabeth Street.
