Betty Hounsel Elected “Sweetheart” of The F.F.A. Chapter Here

Betty Hounsel, pretty Malakoff girl who is a Senior at the High School, was elected “Sweetheart” of the Future Farmers of America chapter, which is located at the school, in a meting several days ago.
One of the five girls to represent chapters in this district, Miss Hounsel will be among those to be judged at the District Meet at Tyler, sometime in December. Judged on her personality, appearance, etc., the winner of the “Sweetheart” contest will go to Nacogdoches to be judged with other girls from over the area.
Each of the 12 areas of the FFA will choose two girls to represent them at the state contest, to be held in San Antonio.
Miss Hounsel will be an honored guest at any banquet or other activity given by the FFA boys this year.
