Sup’t. Irby is Re-Elected for Two-Year Term
From The Malakoff News
January 28, 1938
At a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Malakoff Independent Schools, held in the offices of the Carson Lumber Company on Monday evening, Sup’t. M. E. Irby was re-elected for a two-year term of office.
Sup’t. Irby is completing his first year in the Malakoff Schools in May this year and his fine work thus far has met with the wholehearted approval of the members of the Board. Mr. Irby has also proven very popular among the school patrons generally and the student body. The action of the Board in his re-election will doubtless be well-accepted by the entire community.
