School Band Practice To Start Next Monday

Charles Wetzel, band director for the Malakoff schools, announces band practice for high school members, beginning Monday, August 5th in the high school auditorium.  Practice for high school beginners will follow on Monday at 9:30 a.m.

According to Mr. Wetzel, regular rehearsals will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:00 a.m. until the beginning of school.  All members and those wishing to play in the school band are urged to attend.

Misses Delores McLain and Deanna Poole will begin classes on Monday, teaching “twirling.”  Classes are to be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday, according to Mr. Wetzel.

  1. I loved this picture and article. I started band with Mr. Wetzel when I was in the third grade. He was a great man. LaDona Rogers Davis.
