In a practice game on Tiger Field Tuesday evening, Malakoff football enthusiasts were permitted a preview of the Malakoff High School football team for the coming season this fall.

Coach Frank Nichols had divided his 30-odd man squad into two stellar and equally balanced teams for this exhibition game, which brought a climax to the spring training season.  The game turned out to be a battle from start to finish and proved an exciting attraction for the large crowd of fans that gathered at the gridiron to witness the event.

Mr. Nichols appeared elated over his prospects for w winning team in 1947 and local fans, many of them, are confident that the Tigers this fall will rank among the best teams that MHS has ever produced.
