The firm of Royall & Waller, local representatives in this are for the Case line of farm implements and machinery, will present a free, full-color sound movie in the show room of the Royal Chevrolet Company on next Wednesday evening, February 16th. The picture, titled, “5,000 Years of Farming,” in its fast moving half hour, spans the dreary centuries of muscle-powered scarcity and shows in vivid contrast how mechanical power, in part of a single century, has at last brought abundance.

This outstanding farm movie, accepted as one of the most impressive features of the Wisconsin Centennial Exposition last August, is being brought to Malakoff for free public showing on the above mentioned date.

This free entertainment program is scheduled to begin at 7:00 o’clock and Mr. Royall and Mr. Waller are extending invitations to all farmers and those interested in farming to attend the showing.

J. D. “Red” Waller, former coach of athletics at the Malakoff High School, was elected again to serve the schools in that capacity at a meeting of the Board of Trustees last week.

Mr. Waller, for the past year, has been a member of the Board of Trustees himself, but was forced to resign that position before being eligible to accept a place on the school faculty.  It was also necessary for Dan Gentry, veteran member of the Board, to resign by reason of kinship with Mr. Waller’s wife, the former Miss Elizabeth Gentry.

Mr. Waller was elected to succeed J. W. “Pepper” Martin, who did not seek re-election to the place.
